On a shoot with Ian of Still Metallic. Great place to shoot early morning in the mining district of Joshua Tree. I love this white wall with all it’s great texture.
Out with Brooke shooting in the mud pots beyond Salton Sea. Actually I am not sure where the heck we were. But Brooke did!
David Winge knows all the cool places to shoot in the desert. This being one of them.
On my first shoot with a photographer other than D. Keith. John Darwin Kurc was in town to shoot Coachella. I had put myself on Model Mayhem and somehow we met online. Then we arranged to shoot one morning while he was here.
We took off for the Salton Sea. After a set near the sea we started back and saw all these crevices that I could crawl into. And so I did!
With that sun glowing on the granite boulder I can assure you I had a toasty prop for my head. Joshua Tree is the setting.
David shot this a few years ago now. First light, racing the jeep to reach this spot early one morning. Soft sand dune sand underfoot.
This was an awesome day of shooting.
This is a pretty important asset as an art model. Or, you just stay out of the sun and have pearly white skin. Being a “desert rat” that is impossible for me. Love my Sun!
